READY, SET, BROW: MY CURRENT BROW ROUTINE

Hello Everyone and Happy Friday! Today i thought i would talk about all things brows and also seeing as i haven't done any kind of routine post in a while. Your eyebrows are such an important if not the most important feature on your face, as they frame the way your face looks. I also believe filling in your brows completes any makeup look, because lets face it nobody likes foundation covered/dull brows now do they?

BROW TINTING -
Up until around a year ago i would say, i never used to bother tinting my brows and i never thought it would make a difference, as my brows are naturally really dark. Little did i know i was wrong, since i have been tinting my brows i spend a lot less time filling them in and they look a lot fuller without product on them. This is the one i am using at the moment by colorsport and it is the 30 day brow tint in the shade dark brown, but if i am being honest i much prefer the eylure browdy as it lasts a lot longer.

TOOLS/GROOMING -
Moving onto the tools i use for application and also for grooming, for the longest time i used to spend a fortune on tweezers and they always would seem to go blunt quickly. Then i decided enough was enough and i picked up a pair by Essence for around £2, long story short these tweezers are everything, they stay sharp for a long time and are also great for applying lashes with too. Before i fill my brows in i always comb by brows into place with a spoolie, which is by a brand i can't remember as the writing has rubbed away. To apply brow product when it comes to filling them in i always use this brush by Zoeva, it's the 317 wing liner brush but it is the perfect shape for filling in your brows precisely and also it picks up the product evenly.

POMADES & PENCILS -
Just going down to personal preference 95% of the time i always opt for a brow pomade, as it is just what i find the easiest to use and because you are using a brush i feel as you get more control with the product. My two personal favourites and the two products that are identical to each other is the Anastasia Beverly Hills Dipbrow Pomade and the Freedom Pro Brow Pomade, both of these products are in the shade dark brown. If i do reach for a pencil over a pomade then i am pretty fussy on the type of pencil i go for, especially from the drugstore as a lot of the brown shades tend to be too warm for my brows. A couple of my favourites are obviously the Brow Definer by Anastasia Beverly Hills and then for a drugstore alternative is the L'Oreal Brow Artist Pencil.

SETTING PRODUCTS/TOOLS -
This is a newer step that i do religiously now, unlike before i would only do it on an odd occasion yet it makes a huge difference. I like to take some MAC Select Cover-Up Concealer in the shade NW15 on a small flat concealer brush and tidy up the edges of my brows/browbone, then taking some either pressed powder or eyeshadow but usually the shade Soft Light from the NYX Highlight & Contour palette to set that concealer in place. All that is left to do then is set my brows into place and if you have read my posts for a while, you'll know that the L'Oreal Brow Artist Plumper in the shade Medium/Dark is my go-to. Another favourite of mine is the KIKO Eyebrow Designer but unlike the L'Oreal one this one is a clear brow gel.

And this is what my brows look like once they are all tinted, plucked, filled in and set. I would love to know what your favourite/go-to eyebrow product are? As i am always up for trying something new!
