MY THREE GO-TO BLUSHES

Hello everyone! Today i am back with another instalment of my current "three go-to products", which i have already discussed my three go-to travel friendly highlight palettes and my three go-to nude lip liners as part of this mini series. With that in mind putting palettes/pan blushes aside which i often reach for when it comes down to it, i do also have a select few individual blushes that are go-to favourites of mine. I never used to be the biggest blush fan which i have mentioned on several occasions, but now i love the way it can just add further dimension as well as bringing colour back to the face/complexion.

First up we have probably one of the most well known/well loved blushes in the beauty community, yes you guessed it nars orgasm blush. This particular blush is a gorgeous slightly peachy pink shade with gold shimmer, which also comes in the multiple form for those cream blush lovers. If you were wanting to invest in a high end blush, i would definitely opt for one of these, as a little product goes a long way so it will last you for a while. If you are still not keen on spending £23 for the blush, sleek do an amazing dupe which is also a favourite of mine and that is in the shade rose gold for just under £5.

Another blush that is very well known and one that has a been a firm favourite of mine for years, in fact i don't think i could ever get bored of reaching for it. This particular shade is a beautiful baked peachy blush with a slight pink undertone, as it is a baked blush it does has a pearlescent finish to it. The formula of these blushes are one of my favourites, as they are pigmented, blend easily/seamlessly and are long lasting on the face. I know these blushes are a little more expensive when bought on beautybay coming in at £10 if you are from the uk, when you can get them in the u.s for around $8 or so.

Finally we have this particular blush shade from mac, which is the only matte finish blush out of the bunch. When it came down to choosing a third blush, it was a toss up between this shade (peaches) and the shade crisp whites but that shade was a limited edition item therefore it wouldn't be a shop-able item. That being said both blushes are very similar, peaches is a true peach shade with a natural finish to it and the shade crisp whites is slightly lighter in tone peach with a slight golden shimmer to it. Just like i mentioned with the nars orgasm blush, the mac blushes are also a great investment for a higher end product, as a little goes a long way because of the pigmentation. These blushes come in a wide range of different shades and retail for £19.50.
